Full Job Description

You will serve as Chief of Plans and Actions (GG-14 grade level) performing functions as a management analyst between the Department of Defense (DoD), the Intelligence Community (IC), and the Research and Development Support Activity (RDSA).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Conducting proactive and on-demand briefings, tours, and site visits of Activity programs and projects to Executive Branch leaders.

Preparing or modifying previous management analyses, assessments, or other products by applying expert judgement and ingenuity in interpreting information and providing recommendations or making decisions that impact the Activity.

Planning, designing, and carrying out programs, projects, studies for the analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and operations or the productivity and efficiency of existing processes.

  • You will maintain proactive and continuous liaison with representatives from the IC, DoD, and the Department of the Navy, to ensure strategic alignment and close coordination with RDSA leadership.
  • You will maintain relationships across RDSA to ensure consistent messaging to external partners and stakeholders.
  • You will assist in the creation and implementation of an Executive Branch engagement strategy to facilitate a relationship of trust and transparency that secures advocacy for the Activity’s strategic priorities.
  • You will analyze, evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments to RDSA priorities and strategic objectives
