Job Description

Summary

This job involves managing assessment programs for a naval task force in Hawaii, where you'll develop and refine plans to measure the success of operations against drug trafficking and organized crime.

Full Job Description

You will serve as an Assessments Program Manager responsible for the development, maintenance, validation, tracking, and refinement of the command's measurement and assessments plans and programs.

You will serve as the assessments lead and subject matter expert for all assessments processes, data validation, and evaluation outputs while providing expertise in statistical analysis and standard statistical procedures.

This position is located at JIATF WEST in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Produce detailed periodic evaluations, comprehensive briefs, and other intelligence-based assessments on counterdrug-related and counter-transnational organized crime topics and data; Provide thoroughly researched and developed advice, recommendations, meticulous analysis, and guidance on the production of all-source intelligence as it relates to counterdrug and counter-transnational organized crime topics and data; Provide highly complex analysis, production, and dissemination of current, operational, and strategic intelligence as it relates to counterdrug and counter-transnational organized crime topics and data.

  • You will review, validate, update, and maintain data systems and repositories for accuracy and completeness on a continuous basis throughout the year.
  • You will gather, assess, analyze, and evaluate data and maintain awareness of upcoming, current, and completed Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) West operations, activities, and investments (OAIs).
  • You will be responsible for the development, maintenance, validation, tracking, and refinement of the command’s measurement and assessments plans and programs.
  • You will ensure accuracy of databases for all aspects of operations required to analyze multiple-source material to produce managerial information and present conclusions in assigned areas.
  • You will identify information gaps, specify requirements to fill the missing data gaps, identify new information sources, and use or adapt statistical techniques and scientific methodologies to cope with incomplete data.
