About the Position: This position organizes, coordinates, and directs the work activities and personnel of sections supervised, and has the authority to adjust plans, assignments, methods and resources to effectively and economically meet the established objectives.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Maintenance Supervisor without more than normal supervision. Supervise workers and planning work.

Ability to Lead or Supervise Ability to Meet Deadline Dates under Pressure Ability to Plan and Organize Work Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, and Repair, etc.

Knowledge of Materials Major Duties:

  • Plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials and tools on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate work with supporting or related work functions controlled by other supervisors.
  • Redirect workers and resources to accomplish work.
  • Determine level of maintenance/repairs required and the proper equipment/supplies to perform the work.
  • Recommend solutions to staffing problems, technical requirements, and work operations.
