You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the AIR SYSTEMS GROUP, LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT, TECHNICAL DATA AND INFRASTRUCTURE DIVISION, TECHNICAL MANUALS/IETMS MANAGEMENT BRANCH of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DS-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing subject matter expertise to support Technical Manual (TM) acquisition and sustainment, TM/IETM Quality Assurance, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process development, and Technical Data Package (TDP) management; 2) Exhibiting Subject Matter Expertise thorough an understanding of concepts, principles, and practices of all aspects of the broad field of Technical Data as applicable to complex weapons systems in the full range of system integrated logistic support planning and execution; 3) Utilizing comprehensive knowledge of Life-cycle Integrated Logistics Support and the weapon system acquisition life cycle phases related to DOD, Navy systems, and Commercial/Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), as well as equipment and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases and Enterprises/business processes; 4) Producing Configuration Management and digital technical data policy and processes; 5) Applying a thorough understanding of complex long-term configuration and data relationships across a platform and multiple commodities (SE, PSE, Aircrew Safety and Survivability, Ordnance, etc.) within a complex dispersed Technical Data environment; 6) Using knowledge of all aspects of Technical Data including Maintenance and Operating publications, Technical Data Packages, Technical Directives, Industrial Process Specifications and Processes, legacy and advanced digital types, digital Tech Data infrastructure systems, Technical Data's relationship to master source data and its usage in the initial design, acquisition, manufacturing, and sustainment lifecycle segments, complex Tech Data creation, manipulation, consumption, storage, and delivery business and IT/IA systems; 7) Providing expertise of digital formats such as Extensible Markup Language (XML) and 2D and 3D Technical Data Packages, and graphics formats; 8) Understanding of DOD Joint/DON operational needs ashore (both CONUS and OCONUS) and afloat/deployed; 9) Understanding of data protection requirement for classified/unclassified and the eight categories of sensitive, but unclassified Tech Data; and 10) Displaying broad knowledge of the contracting and Planning, Programming and Budgeting policy, processes and administrative relationships within the DON and NAVAIR related to logistics acquisition and Fleet support of systems.
