Full Job Description

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Fleet Support Team Logisitics Division of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Developing program sustainment and acquisition integrated logistics support.

2.) managing technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system. 3.) Evaluating new approaches, guides, and standards to make logical decisions.

4.) Having expertise in Fleet Support Team (FST) Logistics.

  • You will develop supporting data and provide comprehensive logistics planning information, logistics plans, recommendations, alternatives, impact statements and performance.
  • You will make oral and written presentations concerning acquisition ILS aspects at review conferences.
  • You will plan, manage, and execute logistics support consistent with established maintenance policy guidelines to achieve readiness, supportability and affordability goals and objectives.
  • You will assign and delegate work/projects to team members, give technical advice on assignments and review team member work products.
  • You will assess program documentation, system designs, and aircraft system interfaces for logistics considerations.
