Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to manage supply chains for naval aircraft systems, ensuring parts are available, risks are minimized, and inventories are handled efficiently from design to delivery.
It focuses on coordinating with teams, running meetings on obsolescence issues, and overseeing property and contractor work.
A good fit would be someone with experience in logistics or supply management, especially in defense or government settings, who is organized and good at leading others.
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the Air Systems Group, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Division, Supply Chain Management Branch (AB33100) supporting PMA231 Supply Support Team of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) demonstrating an understanding of Supply Support management functions, material inventory and warehousing as well as program practices and personnel management skills; 2) working familiarity with Navy Supply Support practices, source selection processes, Funding Requirements to include budget development and execution, aircraft modification and kitting management requirements; 3) working experience with interim support period spares storage and issuance requirements, and warehouse management processes for implementing and maintaining an effective Supply Chain Management and proactive management program; 4) ensuring effective and efficient planning, integration, and phasing of all efforts to implement resolutions, to minimize or eliminate risks and negative impacts to retail spares throughout the life cycle of Items.
