Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves planning and managing the logistics and maintenance support for naval aircraft systems throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to retirement.
You'll analyze needs, oversee budgets, review contractor work, and ensure resources are available for smooth operations.

You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the FMS Sustainment Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Demonstrating competence in advanced theory, concepts, principles, and practices of all aspects of the broad field of logistics management.
2.) Enabling incumbent to serve as an expert for the full range of logistics support elements throughout the life cycle; and to take concluding action on any area of logistics for the assigned weapon system.
3.) Having knowledge of Life Cycle Logistics Management System, the system/equipment life-cycle phases and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases.
4.) Having thorough knowledge of DOD budget processes; administrative relationships within the Navy and DOD; and administrative relationships with the Systems Command and field activities.
5.) Preparing rational and logical oral and written presentations to any or all levels of Government and industry management.
