Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing the logistics for naval aircraft systems to keep them safe, ready for missions, and cost-effective for the Navy.
You'll handle planning, analysis, and support for maintenance and operations, acting as the main contact for technical issues.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience may demonstrate the following:1) Developing program sustainment and acquisition integrated logistics support; 2) Applying advanced logistics management principles to support fleet operations and mission readiness; 3) Managing technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system; and 4) Evaluating new approaches, guides and standards to make logistical decisions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:
