Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing law enforcement (LE), physical security (PS), antiterrorism (AT), and force protection (FP) functions; 2) Conducting preliminary and/or ongoing investigations of incidents; 3) Documenting law enforcement and security events and the issuance of citations; 4) Distributing workload to junior officers in accordance with priority and skill level.

  • You will control access to secure areas by checking all facilities (e.g., gates, locks, fence lines, designated sensitive buildings) to protect an installation.
  • You will explain policies, goals, procedures, and regulations to assigned law enforcement personnel.
  • You will conduct random searches of vehicles to detect unauthorized removal of classified material, government property, contraband, weapons, or explosives.
  • You will initiate action when unlawful entries or other violations are found as a result of making physical security checks of buildings.
  • You will use established techniques and procedures to seize and protect evidence.
  • You will write crime scene reports containing evidence and statements gathered.
