Full Job Description

You will serve as a Lead Management Analyst in the Strategic Integration Group of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Providing direction to stakeholders to meet deliverable deadlines 2) Assisting in the coordination of the strategic planning, management execution, and decision making of operations 3) Providing insight and analysis and assistance on planning, programming, budgeting, and efforts 4) Advising on the recommendations and definitions of strategic investment themes and priorities for development and defense 5) Assisting in the development of responses and proactive actions to address Congressional concerns 6) Coordinating with others on strategic communications strategies to promote positive messaging of initiatives and efforts 7) Advising on matters related to acquisition polices, practices and regulations.

  • You will execute the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution process that identifies and resources the capabilities and readiness levels required to ensure combat-ready naval forces
  • You will serve as the Director’s and VCNO’s principal civilian assistant for managing and coordinating the efforts of the SIG to execute the mission of OPNAV
  • You will be the civilian continuity to provide sustained, actionable perspective on myriad issues and efforts which require coordination and leadership at the Echelon-I level
  • You will be responsible for working with the Director to develop and synchronize myriad into a coherent vision that manifests in decision and information fora on the VCNO and OPNAV calendar
  • You will provide the Director and the VCNO with balanced and integrated solutions to complex strategic and tactical issues facing the Navy
