Summary

This job involves leading a team in managing grants for the National Institutes of Health, including creating funding announcements, reviewing grant applications, and ensuring everything follows legal and policy rules.

Are you a Grants Management Specialist with expertise in providing guidance on technical grants policies?

If so, we are looking for a Lead Grants Management Specialist who has experience in developing Funding Opportunity Announcement of grant programs and Requests for Applications in compliance with all legal, regulatory and policy requirements.

As a Lead Grants Management Specialist, you will monitor and report on the status and progress of work and facilitate on coordinating team initiatives.

If selected, you will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE Form 450 to determine if a conflict or an appearance of a conflict exists between your financial interest and your prospective position with the agency.

You qualify at the GS-14 level, if you meet one of the following qualification requirements: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, that demonstrates your ability to serve as a fiscal manager and administrative advisor to explain grants management objectives, policies, and procedures; participate in developing grants policies, guidelines, procedures and internal controls; provide leadership to other team members; provide general lead responsibilities and assisting with staff in prioritizing work.
