This announcement will be used to fill positions with an entry grade of GS-12, or GS-13 with a target grade of GS-13. The minimum salary for grade GS-12 is $90,341, the maximum salary is $117,446.
The minimum salary for grade GS-13 is $107,428, the maximum salary is $139,658.
GS-12: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-11) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
GS 12 Specialized experience is defined as: Performing a wide range of administrative duties, including providing logistical support such as managing schedules or coordinating travel for an office; or Reviewing official correspondence to ensure compliance with procedural and formatting requirements; or Tracking organizational tasks and deadlines to ensure actions are completed on time.
GS-13: One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-12) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
GS 13 Specialized experience is defined as: Providing leadership or guidance on administrative or operational support functions; or Providing direct administrative support to senior leadership on administrative and operational matters; or Coordinating complex administrative activities across multiple offices.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement.
To be considered for the GS-12, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-11 or higher in the Federal service.
To be considered for the GS-13, applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher in the Federal service.
