This job involves operating commercial laundry machines to clean bulk items like linens and uniforms, while also handling general cleaning tasks such as mopping floors, dusting areas, and maintaining restrooms in an Army lodging facility in Germany.
It's a hands-on role that requires physical effort in a noisy, hot environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and heavy equipment.
A good fit would be someone reliable and detail-oriented who can work independently, lift up to 50 pounds, and has experience in custodial or laundry work without needing much supervision.
This position is located at USAG Bavaria - MWR, Army Lodging Tower Barracks (Grafenwoehr), Germany Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to maintain tools and equipment.

PHYSICAL EFFORTS: Required standing and walking on hard surfaces with some bending, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of items or carts up to and occasionally over 50 pounds.
Eg., Pulling wet laundry from washer, pushing heavy carts, and lifting bundles of laundry. WORKING CONDITIONS: Works inside areas that are noisy, hot and humid.
Exposed to dirt and disagreeable odors, vibration from use of heavy equipment, and to skin irritations from strong cleaning solutions.
Exposed to the possibility of bruises from moving carts or falls on wet floors. Care is required to avoid serious injury when working on ladders and when moving or using heavy powered equipment.
