In this role, you will help keep Delaware Canal State Park clean, safe, and welcoming for all visitors. You will support daily maintenance needs, assist staff across the park, and contribute to positive visitor experiences throughout the season.
Present a professional image by following the Bureau’s mission, maintaining proper uniform appearance, and using professional language and conduct.
Keep vehicles clean and remain prepared to assist visitors.
Maintain a basic knowledge of the park and its operations.
Provide information and assistance to park visitors when requested.
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned to support the Bureau’s mission.
Follow instructions from supervisors and assist with other tasks as needed to ensure smooth park operations.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits.
The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay.
The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027.
