Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves planning, managing, and evaluating joint military training exercises and programs for the US Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii, including developing training objectives, facilitating academic sessions, and handling lessons learned from operations.

The role offers a competitive GS-12 salary plus a cost-of-living allowance for the Hawaii location.
You will serve as a JOINT TRAINING OPERATIONS SPECIALIST of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.65% will be added to the stated salary.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following: 1) Supporting and managing all day-to-day domain planning and operations; 2) Facilitating training and exercising policy, planning, execution and analysis; 3) Developing and executing operational and exercise assessment processes and programs; 4) Planning, directing, monitoring, and assessing implementation of the Joint Training System; and 5) Developing and executing lessons learned and academic training programs for training audiences.
