Base salary range: $88,520 - $115,079

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team to plan and coordinate military strikes and operations across different forces in the Pacific region, working with various military branches and allies to ensure everything aligns for large-scale missions.

You will serve as a LEAD JOINT FIRES PLANNER in the JOINT FIRES DIVISION (J32) of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Providing systems operation and evaluation of multi-disciplined targeting/intelligence automated systems; (2) Developing, coordinating and executing policy and guidance on strategic plans including targeting and attack policy, strategic targeting selection, and targeting guidance for operational fires; (3) Coordinating with operational personnel by identifying needs and capabilities and translating them into automated standard specifications; and (4) Training and educating staff on command theater strategic and operational targeting system applications.
