This job involves working as an IT specialist focused on cybersecurity, where you'll analyze and support secure systems for naval projects, including assessing risks, ensuring compliance with security rules, and helping with system upgrades and testing.

You will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in the Cybersecurity Engineering Branch; Intelligence & Cyber Technology Division of NAVSURFWARCENACT DAM NECK VA.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-05 is equivalent to GS-13/14. This position is salary capped at GS-13, Step 10 (currently $140,426).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Information Technology (IT) work to coordinate or evaluate IT cybersecurity/information assurance policies, procedures, or measures to ensure they are correctly applied to IT systems, software, or networks.
Examples of specialized experience may include: analyzing, assessing, and documenting cyber security/information assurance capabilities and services; establishing compliance with cyber security/information assurance requirements; identifying vulnerabilities in information technology systems, software, or networks; ensuring networks are certified and accredited for information security.
