GS-12: In addition to the experience demonstrating the four competencies above, Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience includes: 1.) Developing, implementing, and managing a computer network defense program, including policies, procedures, and standards per industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
2.) Monitoring network and enclave traffic within a DoD environment. 3.) Experience utilizing Comply-to-Connect (C2C), Zero-Trust, and Incident Response.
4.) Must have a working knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SEIM), Endpoint Security Solutions, Firewalls, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
5.) Managing, configuring, and tuning Endpoint Security (ENS). 6.) Performing technical evaluations for systems/network changes for sound security practices.
GS-11: In addition to the experience demonstrating the four competencies above, Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience includes: 1.) Managing a computer network defense program, including policies, procedures, and standards per industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
2.) Monitoring network and enclave traffic within a DoD environment. 3.) Familiar with Comply-to-Connect (C2C) and Incident Response.
4.) Must be familiar with Security Information and Event Management (SEIM), Endpoint Security Solutions, Firewalls, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). 5.) Tuning Endpoint Security (ENS).
