Base salary range: $147,649 - $221,900

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for an IT support specialist who helps troubleshoot and fix issues in South Carolina's Medicaid systems, mainly by handling escalated requests from frontline staff and sharing solutions with the team.
It involves responding to tickets and calls, mentoring junior analysts, and working with vendors when needed.
A good fit would be someone with customer service experience in tech support and familiarity with Medicaid processes, who enjoys problem-solving in a team environment.

Three (3) Positions Available
Respond to support requests and tasks escalated from Tier 1 and other support staff, or otherwise designated as Tier 2 requests by management.
Contribute to team documentation and communications to facilitate the sharing of knowledge. Engage with external parties to facilitate resolution of issues when required.

Working knowledge of SC Medicaid eligibility processes and procedures.Proficiency with SC Medicaid eligibility systems.Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships.Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, verbally and in writing, technical and non-technical information to audiences with varying skill and knowledge levels.Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion.Ability to quickly adapt to changes in systems, processes, and/or environment.May be required to carry an agency-issued phone and provide "on call" support on a recurring schedule.
