Full Job Description
Assists in the installation, repair and troubleshooting of network cabling and devices, including but not limited to CAT6 and fiber optic cabling and jacks, telephones, wireless access points, security cameras, and emergency call boxes. Assists in the installation of equipment for network closets and data centers, including switches, routers, and servers. Performs, adds, moves, and changes as necessary for any cabling and associated equipment on any of the seven campuses. Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

Must have excellent troubleshooting skills, including the ability to find solutions to issues from technical documents and manuals with limited guidance. Requires extended periods of climbing, standing, lifting and walking, and periodic sitting and computer use. Must be able to work within confined spaces (crawl spaces, wiring closets), use ladders, hydraulic lifts and lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.). Must maintain clean driving record and perform extensive in-town driving to all seven college campuses. Additional Information
