If so consider joining the Pennsylvania Game Commission as a Hunter Access Program Manager to grow and shape our Hunter Access Program! This position gives you a chance to build strong partnerships with landowners, drive enrollment across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 access levels, and elevate the program's impact through strategic outreach and relationship management. Requirements

In this role, you will be tasked with recruiting and meeting with landowners to enroll properties in the Hunter Access Program and educating them on tier and mapping systems.

Work involves supporting the development, implementation, and statewide expansion of the online Hunter Access mapping and tier platform.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Bureau of Marketing & Strategic Communications and internal teams to promote the program through educational materials, outreach, and public presentations.

You will also be responsible for identifying landowner barriers to wildlife management goals and developing strategic solutions, including enrollment in additional programs such as Certified Hunter and Deer Management Assistance.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and analyzing a searchable landowner database
  • Conducting surveys and providing recommendations to improve program effectiveness
  • Developing growth strategies, policies, and procedures to strengthen and scale the program statewide
  • Fostering strong relationships with landowners, hunters, and stakeholders, addressing concerns and improving hunter-landowner engagement

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Four years of professional experience in development and implementation of conservation education programs; and a bachelor's degree with course work in education, wildlife management, communications, or a closely related field; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.


Additional Requirements:

  • You must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
