The Department of Human Services is seeking a detail-oriented individual who works well in a team to join us as a Human Services Program Representative 1!
By working in the Bureau of Policy, Planning, and Program Development, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing policies that shape the use of peer services throughout Pennsylvania.

In this position, you will serve on a team of subject matter experts specializing in Social Determinants of Health and various mental health services.
Your work will involve the development, coordination, and expansion of statewide peer services and other mental health programs, as well as developing and monitoring policies and programs for these peer services.
You will review and approve program service descriptions, write reports and correspondence, analyze state and federal legislation, and participate in policy development and evaluation.
Further duties will also include monitoring new and expanded peer programs for their compliance with state and federal standards, legal requirements, and departmental rules and regulations.
Additionally, you will need to maintain a working knowledge of state and federal policy, as well as have the ability to lead and execute projects from beginning to end by developing strong and realistic project plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report to the worksite address listed in this posting two days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
