The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a dedicated Human Services Analyst to join the Bureau of Program Integrity.

In this vital role, you will review and verify data to support operations related to claims adjudication, system edits, and the maintenance of Third Party Liability data.

Requirements

In this position, you will oversee the resolution of claim issues related to Third Party Liability (TPL).

You will serve as a liaison between TPL, DHS program offices, and providers to address and resolve claim-related issues.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring high-priority requests requiring immediate attention, providing ongoing updates, and offering guidance on outstanding matters while recommending strategies to prevent future issues.

In addition, you will act as the subject matter expert on TPL claim policies and procedures and will develop and document workflows and policy guidance as needed.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
