To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: One full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement.
Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.
Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience that demonstrates the ability to provide human resource support, advice and guidance in various human resources areas such as benefits, compensation, training, and staffing.
Experience in coordinating the selection process for applicants, conducting training for new employee orientation, conducting employment interviews.
Experience completing and filing various forms/documentation, providing information and assistance, and performing various human resource support functions.
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience are qualifying for all grade levels for which both education and experience are acceptable.
If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities.
**Your eligibility for consideration will be based on your responses to the questions in the application.** Major Duties:
Responsible for assisting the Regional Human Resource Administrator in directing the regional human resources program.
Responsible for operating human resources offices that include local labor management negotiations, disciplinary and grievance procedures, staffing (interviewing, and pre-employment processing), workforce projections, and career counseling.
Contributes to staffing functions, scheduling and conducting interviews and preparing request for security clearances.
Responsible for maintaining an in depth knowledge of the Master Agreement in order to advise human resources staff on grievances, resolving labor management disputes and management responsibilities.
