This job involves managing key human resources programs for civilian intelligence personnel in the Navy, such as employee relations, leave policies, and handling disciplinary actions.

You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist at the GG-13 grade level in the Chief Human Capital Office, Defense Civilian Intelligence (DCIPS) Program Office, charged with full technical responsibility for one or more Department of the Navy (DON) DCIPS-wide civilian human resources (HR) programs/project assignments.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Monitoring and reviewing assigned programs/areas and develops appropriate policies, procedures, guidance, and program standards.
Initiating special studies, pilot programs, or other actions and follows-up to assure that the organization maintains progressive personnel support.
Providing policy, procedures, advice, and assistance to employees and managers on filing injury compensation forms, continuation of pay, medical certification, and compensation of pay.
Composing and drafting letters for management to deal with appropriate disciplinary actions, poor performance and adverse actions, in accordance with organizational guidance/procedures.
Providing clear and concise written proposal letters on disciplinary/adverse actions for management and legal review.
