Summary

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in the FLT PERS DEVELOPMENT & ALLOCATION DIV, FLT EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES PRG of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience managing EEO, administrative, and/or HR programs.

-Experience facilitating effective communication for dispute resolution and administrative matters. -Experience conducting research. -Experience analyzing and evaluating reports.

-Experience utilizing conflict resolution skills.

  • You will develop and execute policies, strategies, procedures, and training plans for implementation of ADR initiatives for commands/activities within the U.S. Fleet Forces Command, CONUS, area of responsibility.
  • You will develop, implement, evaluate and improve processes and procedures to monitor the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity relating to the ADR program; recommending resource allocations.
  • You will service as the entry point of contact for requests for ADR services from employees and managers; determine mediator resources to include the use of DON mediators and contractors.
  • You will solicit feedback from each ADR participant and compile data and statistics for reporting purposes to Department of Navy (DON).
  • You will function as a DON facilitator and certified mediator.
  • You will develop and conduct training on a wide variety of topics to include Effective Communication, Dealing with Difficult Employees, Conflict Management, Guide for Supervisors Preparation for Mediation, etc.
  • You will serve as the Reasonable Accommodation point of contact and the Advisory Team Chairperson in conducting analysis to determine reasonable accommodation or medical placement obligations/efforts under the Rehabilitation Aet or DOD/DON policy.
