This role is responsible for administrative duties pertaining to the human resource programs assigned to the Employee Relations and Workforce Support (WFS) Division, Workforce Support Section.

Requirements

As a Human Resource Assistant 2, you will provide technical support for the Performance Management Program for the client agencies.

Work includes reviewing and evaluating all Employee Performance Reviews (EPRs) to ensure they are completed properly in accordance with policy.

You can expect to provide feedback and recommendations directly to raters and reviewing officers to correct technical or content errors.

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the EPR Resource Account to include tracking due dates for annual and probationary EPRs and providing monthly reminders and reports to client agencies.

This position supports a variety of human resource program areas within the Employee Relations and Workforce Support Division performing duties such as gathering data from publications, files, and interviews; analyzing data; recommending appropriate activity; and substantiating actions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hour work week
  • Work hours are open to choose between 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days per week in office.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Human Resource Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of clerical or other comparable experience and one year of beginning level paraprofessional human resource or equal opportunity work; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
