We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Human Resource Assistant 2 to join us at our field office at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Albion.
The work you accomplish in this role will help us ensure that our employees are paid in a timely and accurate manner. Apply today and work as an integral member of a dedicated team of professionals!

In this position, you will support pay and time transactions, institutional timekeeping, Family Medical Leave Act functions, and other HR related duties for the field office.
Your work will involve ensuring time is accurately and consistently entered, as well as entering appropriate codes for overtime. You will ensure that SCIs are compliant with their union agreements.
Some of your duties will include completing audits and sending documentation to the Office of Administration upon completion.
You can expect to track employees temporarily working out of class to ensure appropriate pay actions.
Additionally, you will assist employees in finding information related to their benefits and provide guidance to supervisors regarding employee assistance programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time; up to a minimum of 2 days per week, after successful completion of a 6-month probationary period..
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Erie. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
