The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is eager to welcome a Human Resource Analyst 1 to work in our Human Resources Office in Harrisburg.

This position is responsible for independently creating all PGC vacancy postings and requisitions.

Requirements

This position plays a key part in supporting the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s hiring and workforce operations. You will manage job postings and applicant screening, coordinate interviews, and serve as a resource for candidates and staff. A major component of the role includes leading the agency’s CDL Random Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, ensuring statewide compliance and providing training and guidance. You will also represent the agency at career fairs, prepare reports, and assist with a variety of HR and administrative functions. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 45-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.

    In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

    If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the Human Resource Management Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year as a Human Resource Assistant 2 or an Equal Opportunity Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of paraprofessional analytical experience and a bachelor’s degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
