Full Job Description

The HR Program Coordinator supports the HR Operations Division by providing professional, analytical and technical support for HR related projects and initiatives, including the interpretation and maintenance of HR policies, programs and procedures. The coordinator will report directly to the Deputy Director of HR Operations.



Job Description
There are two vacant HR Program Coordinator positions, one in HR Operations and one in Total Rewards. These positions support the divisions by providing professional, analytical and technical support for HR related projects and initiatives, including the interpretation and maintenance of HR policies, programs and procedures. Both positions will report to the Deputy Director of those divisions.

Essential Duties
  • Manage the end-to-end process of various HR projects and initiatives by creating project timelines, maintaining project documentation, etc., ensuring that project deliverables and milestones are completed in a timely manner, and keep County project management tool(s) updated.
  • Support leadership with the research for and development of business cases to ensure initiative’s scope, benefits, and impact are outlined.
  • Assist with drafting and revising HR policies and or procedures.
  • Carry out data analysis and provide regular reporting.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of standards of operation and best practices.
  • Assist in request for proposals and vendor management.
  • Various administrative duties/support.
  • Responsible safeguarding highly confidential records and information.

Grade
The grade for this position is 103. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, project management or a related area AND
  • Two years of project coordinator or project management experience
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other project management certifications
  • Experience drafting policies and procedures
  • At least five years of human resources experience
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
