Base salary range: $41,966 - $54,557
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-6. Bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement or 1 year graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves inspecting military housing facilities at a naval air station in Nevada, identifying issues, ensuring work meets standards, and preparing reports to resolve problems.
It also includes coordinating with property managers and implementing policies from higher authorities.
A good fit would be someone with experience in facility inspections, strong attention to detail, and skills in analysis and reporting, ideally from government or private sector housing roles.
You will serve as a HOUSING MANAGER (INSPECTOR) in the Housing Program of NAVAL AIR STATION FALLON.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Conducting housing facility inspections and identifying deficiencies; 2) Interpreting, explaining and applying technical requirements and specifications to quality problems encountered in such activities as audits, facility inspections, or investigations; 3) Preparing reports and point papers that include information relative to data collection, analysis and recommendation for action.
