This job involves handling financial tasks like managing pay accounts, processing payroll, and auditing travel expenses for military and civilian personnel in the Navy.
It supports budgeting and reporting to ensure everything follows rules and stays within limits.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing budgets and maintaining ledgers adhering to required laws, rules, and policies; 2) Creating and maintaining reports, spreadsheets, and budget summaries for management; 3) Providing support for travel-related purchases and expenses for other employees to ensure they are within budget and relevant; and 4) Providing various accounting, budget, and financial management support for different and potentially unrelated situations within an agency.
