The primary purpose of this position is to provide the Space Base Delta 1 commander with sound financial advice, manage all financial activities and services, and consistently execute financial management policies, procedures, and processes across six geographically separated USAF hosted installations.
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions,Administrative and Management Positions.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of which equivalent to the next lower broadband NH-II, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in other pay systems.
General experience - is described as employee carrying out recurring assignments independently; conducts successive activities with objectives and priorities identified by supervisor or team leader; assistance given on new or unusual projects or situations.

General experience directly related to the work of the position may be used to meet the requirements of this position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1.
Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories of Financial Management, and the standard practices, methods, and techniques of the occupation sufficient to perform difficult, but well-precedented assignments.
2. Knowledge of analysis, evaluation, fact-finding, and investigative techniques in order to gather data, identify significant factors, and recommend a solution from a number of possible alternatives.
3. Knowledge of the occupation to perform studies and prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence to communicate factual and procedural information clearly. 4.
Skill in applying the principles, concepts, and practices of the occupation sufficient to perform moderately difficult assignments. 5.
Ability to communicate factual and procedural information clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, as well as work in a professional manner with peers and management.
6. Ability to learn and apply analytical investigative techniques to accomplish work in the subject-matter field.
Ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions. Ability to plan and organize work and consult effectively with co-workers.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:
Serves as the Customer Service Representative (CSR) for civilian payroll pay related issues.
Independently performs a variety of financial management assignments related financial operations and resources directorate in organizing financial activities to ensure compliance with financial fiscal and auditing directives., certifying compliance with higher level (MAJCOM/FIELDCOM/SAF/FM) requirements.
Performs financial management/analysis of complex data from multiple budget, accounting and pay databases for assigned resource management areas that typically involve long-range, complex financial topics.
Prepares written correspondence and other documentation.
