Job Description

Summary

This job involves handling payroll and financial tasks for employees at a naval facility, such as processing pay accounts, answering questions about pay, and ensuring everything follows the rules.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Comptroller Department (Code 820) of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

2026 SALARY RANGES: GS-09: $69,373 - $90,190 GS-11: $83,935 - $109,122 For GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated financial management systems to identify, compile, analyze, and summarize accounting, budgetary, or financial data to assist with pay entitlement processing.

For GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing automated financial management systems to identify, compile, analyze, and summarize accounting information to create financial reports for management review.

  • You will provide assistance to employees regarding a wide variety of pay actions to include answering inquiries, explaining pay entitlements, and various other payroll related issues.
  • You will ensure all pay transactions are in compliance with applicable fiscal laws, regulations and policies.
