Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves helping manage budgets and financial data for the U.S. Marine Corps in Japan, including reviewing requests, tracking spending, and providing recommendations on programs.

Note that medical and dental care is very limited in the location, so it's best for those prepared for overseas living.

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing, evaluating, and reviewing budget and program issues and financial data and report using business tools and applications (e.g.
DAI, cost and economic analysis and performance metrics to provide recommendations.
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with the review of budget and program issues in regards to financial management systems to maintain data integrity.
