Base salary range: $62,107 - $80,737
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-10. Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves managing budgets for a naval engineering command, including preparing estimates, analyzing financial options, and advising on how to best use funds for programs.
A good fit would be someone with experience in government or organizational finance who enjoys solving budget challenges and working with program teams.
It's based in Guam and requires a solid understanding of financial rules and regulations.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Ability to apply their understanding of budgetary policies, procedures, and regulations to resolve a wide-range of budgetary problems.
Providing program managers and staff officials with interpreting the impact of and planning for financial/budgetary and program changes and development of alternative solutions.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
