This job involves working directly with fathers and male partners in the Nashville Strong Babies program to educate them on supporting their newborns, help enroll them, and connect them to helpful resources.
It's a hands-on role that requires building relationships, managing caseloads, and delivering parenting classes, often outside regular hours.
A good fit would be someone passionate about family support with experience in social services or community outreach, ideally with a bachelor's degree.
Maintains direct contact with NSB enrollees and potential enrollees in the target area; includes conducting daily visit encounters (in-person or virtual) and documenting encounters in a timely manner.
Performs general administrative duties including maintaining accurate documentation of client records, periodic assessments, statistical reports, data entry, emails and letters.
Any combination of education and experience that would prepare the incumbent to perform the duties of the position at the appropriate level. Employees would typically have a Bachelor’s Degree.
More specific education, experience or certification requirements may be included in the position announcement as vacancies occur.
All candidates must demonstrate at least one (1) year of paid, full-time employment in social work, prenatal and post-natal care, or a directly related field.
Experience in outreach and providing education to the target population.
Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
