The Opportunity
WSDOT is seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Planner 2 to join our Northwest Region team in Shoreline, WA.
Well-maintained facilities are essential to keeping Washington moving, and this role plays a key part in ensuring our buildings and sites are safe, functional, and ready to support critical transportation operations.
The Facilities Planner 2 provides facility planning and program development support for existing state-owned facilities, while evaluating development opportunities to maximize space utilization for program delivery and equipment maintenance.
This position contributes directly to the efficiency and effectiveness of WSDOT operations by supporting maintenance and construction activities across Northwest Region sites and buildings—helping ensure our workforce has the infrastructure it needs to keep people and goods moving throughout Washington State.

Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, the following are required:
Facilities Project Management Experience: Experience with large tenant improvement projects including scheduling, move sequencing, mover and contractor coordination.
Knowledge of project management techniques, facility operations, maintenance and construction principles.
Experience interpreting applicable codes and regulations, laws and statutes, and environmental requirements.
