About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Bolling Club on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C.

Perform supervisory duties, supervising a subordinate workforce engaged in performing various specialist and administrative functions related to the Event Center operation.

This position may work an irregular work schedule to include nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Who May Apply: Open to everyone.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Must have specialized experience gained in the operation or management of government or civilian club, restaurant, or food facility.

Experience must include responsibility or supervision over various duties of Event Center Manager operations. Major Duties:

Responsible for economic and efficient operation of facilities, developing and managing a comprehensive Event Center program/complex.

Implements higher level directives and formulates procedures and programs to ensure high standards of services provided for food & beverage, recreational, entertainment, cultural and life skills.

Establishes reviews and evaluates menu planning, food service, purchase of supplies/equipment and resale items. Establishes financial goals commensurate with market analysis of area or region.

Performs budget administration to include formulation, analytical methods, evaluation, and execution of appropriated fund (APF) and non-appropriated fund (NAF).

Maintains solid financial condition of complex. Responsible for work force management, recruitment, and staff training.

Manages real property resources and provides expert advice on renovations, improvements, minor and major construction. Ensures proper military and civilian protocol is practiced.

Coordinates with senior military and civilian leadership and local, state, and federal officials.

Plans and schedules a variety of Event Center program offerings considering the diverse interests and needs of participants.

Plans funding for programs such as funds from centralized programming (Outside the Box), R4R, M3, or NAF.

Takes into consideration to determine facilities, staff support, equipment and supplies needed to support programs along with seasonal aspects of program activities.
