Clarks Summit State Hospital is seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Operator B to join our Transportation and Grounds Team in the Facility Services Department.
By operating equipment to maintain the grounds, you will help us keep our facilities running smoothly. Apply today and use your expertise to make a difference in the lives of others!
In this position, you will operate a variety of medium weight, single chassis vehicles and maintenance equipment.
Your work will involve operating equipment to meet transportation needs and provide general maintenance and construction material support, as well as seasonal snow and ice removal services.
You will perform landscaping tasks, digging and excavating for projects, and demonstrating proper operation of equipment.
Some of your duties will also include operating vans to provide patient escort services, delivering meals and food items throughout the hospital grounds, and performing preventative maintenance.
Additionally, you will deliver supplies such as mail and oxygen tanks.
