You will serve as an ENGINEER in the DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number: ST-12857380-26-NDF.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer applying advanced engineering principles to support the system engineering and Test & Evaluation of complex programs for Naval surface ship combat systems.

  • You will serve as the lead Gun Weapon System Lead Engineer within the Digital Engineering Department, Networks and Digital Systems Engineering Division.
  • You will serve as the Division System Engineer for all Digital Engineering programs and projects associated with in0service engineering disciplines.
  • You will lead technical authority within the division.
  • You will be responsible for the quality execution and timely delivery of all technical products.
  • You will provide technical direction and coordination in support of Combat Systems tasking during all phases of the Acquisition cycle.
  • You will provide leadership and technical expertise for total systems development, life cycle sustainment, Integration and test and Evaluation in support of major warfare system.
