Job Description

Summary

This job involves planning and managing emergency training programs and exercises for a U.S.

Marine Corps training center in Japan, while advising on how to prepare for and respond to disasters like earthquakes or accidents.

You will serve as a EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the COMBINED ARMS TRAINING CENTER ofCOMBAT ARMS TRAINING CTR CAMP FUJI JA . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

All applications received on the day the application limit is reached will be accepted and processed Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, coordinating, and managing Emergency Management Training and Exercise Plans AND providing technical advice on installation preparedness and response activities associated with natural and/or man-made disasters.

  • You will develop, coordinate, and manage the CATC Camp Fuji Emergency Management Training and Exercise Plan (TEP), ensuring compliance with emergency management-related directives, regulations, policies, civil rights laws, standards, and guidance.
  • You will provide technical advice on installation preparedness and response activities associated with natural and/or man-made disasters.
  • You will review and assess installation plans to ensure the capability to continue essential functions during all hazardous conditions or events
  • You will provide exercise planning, development, task management, execution, and post exercise assessment support of joint and bilateral exercises.
