We are seeking an Administrative Specialist II - Adult Services / Emergency Services Clinic who is motivated to help individuals and families navigate life's challenges and achieve long-term wellness.

This position is located at the SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) - Office of Mental Health (OMH), Lexington County Community Mental Health Center (LCCMHC), 301 Palmetto Park Blvd, Lexington, SC 29072.
As the Administrative Specialist, you will independently perform a variety of advanced administrative and clerical duties which are critical to the operation of the Lexington County CMHC offices as needed. You will apply policies to perform varied tasks, such as providing clerical, secretarial, data entry, and medical records maintenance, which have a significant impact on the operation of the unit; make independent decisions concerning the daily operations of the unit.Responsibilities for this Administrative Specialist II:
Provide administrative support with a moderate level of individual and/or customer accountability, which includes receive and screen telephone calls; greet allcustomers in a professional manner, ensure all customers receive proper instructions to have their needs met and taking care of the immediate needs of thecustomers.
Notify staff of patient arrival via EMR or telephone; schedules appointments for patients/staff, making changes as needed.
Manage of all assigned medical records in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines ; updating patient information such as, financial information,addresses and telephone numbers as changes are reported; ensure accurate scanning and importing of patient information to include insurance and patient incomedocuments.
Support patients with administrative intake process and support intake providers.
This is position is considered essential and may be called back during crises/disasters/emergencies.
