Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-11. Advanced degree + significant experience.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as an electronics engineer at a missile range facility in Hawaii, where you'll design, improve, and integrate telemetry systems used to track and monitor missile tests.
You'll collaborate with teams to plan upgrades, evaluate system needs, and ensure everything runs smoothly for military operations.
It's a great fit for experienced engineers who enjoy technical problem-solving in a defense setting and have a background in electronics or systems engineering.
You will serve as a ELECTRONICS ENGINEER in the PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY of PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer, planning and coordinating the design and development of range telemetry systems by evaluating present and future system requirements and developing recommendations to improve and modernize range system operability and usefulness.
