The Screen-out Element for this position is: SCREEN OUT ELEMENT: Ability to do the work of the position, without more than normal supervision: fabricating, overhauling, modifying, installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electronic equipment.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

• You will fabricate, overhaul, modify, install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintains electronic equipment.
• You will maintain electronic equipment of limited complexity such as sub-assemblies, printed circuit cards, and chassis.
• You will utilize standard techniques and tools to make repairs entailing similar tasks as directed on less complex electronic equipment.
• You will perform standard soldering operations on multiple sub-assemblies, such as printed circuit boards, cable/harness assemblies, connectors, and power supply assemblies.
• You will operate automated test equipment (STE) to perform standardized testing operations and utilize test equipment following prescribed procedures to determine repairs.
