Base salary range: $74,441 - $96,770

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading a team of engineers to support and maintain the electronics and avionics systems on Navy aircraft, focusing on fixing issues, planning projects, and ensuring everything runs smoothly for the fleet.
It's ideal for experienced engineers who enjoy managing technical teams and solving complex problems in a military aviation setting.
A good fit would be someone with hands-on knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and strong leadership skills.
You will serve as a Lead Electronics Engineer in the MQ-25 Fleet Support Team Avionics Branch of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) demonstrating knowledge of Air Vehicle (AV) in-service fleet support and/or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) related to avionics/electrical 2) managing engineering resources to plan and coordinate technical teams and/or projects 3) analyzing AV avionics/electrical related issues and drafting in-service engineering technical products.
