Full Job Description

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS MECHANIC / ELECTRONICS INDUSTRIAL CONTROLS WORKER in the MECHANICAL DIVISION, REPAIR DEPARTMENT of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.

Salary Information: WG-08: $33.36 - $38.92 WG-11: $42.86 - $50.01 Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.

  • You will repair, align, install, remove, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial integrated electronic control systems of multi-axis, continuous path contouring computer numerical controlled machine tools and automated production equipment.
  • You will program, analyze, compute and integrate data from various (CNC) machine tools, automated industrial production equipment and all its associate sub-systems.
  • You will use systematic troubleshooting procedures where specifications may be incomplete or in a foreign language.
  • You will analyze the interface system and electromechanical and hydraulic systems for problems.
  • You will use laser measuring devices to pin-point tooling and machining process problems with accuracy and machine geometry.
