troubleshooting and repairing circuits locating power sourceschanging ballasts in light fixtures replacing switches and receptacles replacing light fixtures or repairing internal components re-lamping with new LED lamps running new circuits for receptacles wiring and splicing for string lights installing contactors, photocells, conduits, boxes, fittings, and all wiring testing lighting circuits pulling data and communication cable cleaning lighting lenses installing time clocks installing new fixtures in elevators Performs other duties to include:hanging banners and flagstesting and installing cameras, monitors, and television systems installing telephone and data equipment obtaining estimates for materials and/or services and submits for purchase order by following procurement procedures using work order management application (Facility Dude) to update assigned work orders with notes, labor hours, and materials used scheduling, coordinating, and overseeing work of contractors following strict tool and inventory control procedures Qualifications Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature which may be obtained with six months/one year of advanced study or training past the high school equivalency.
Junior college, vocational, business, technical or correspondence schools are likely sources.
Appropriate certification may be awarded upon satisfactory completion of advanced study or training.Required:Three years of experience as an electrician.Preferred:Four years of experience as an electrician.
Additional Information Valid Driver's License required.
