This job involves repairing and maintaining electrical equipment like actuators, motors, and cooling fans for the Navy, including tasks such as disassembling parts, inspecting for damage, reassembling with proper adjustments, and testing functionality.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the WG-2854-08 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1- Performs repetitive and/or relatively routine tasks including disassembly, repair, overhaul, assembly, adjusting and testing of actuators both linear and rotary, small motors, cooling fans and similar equipment/components.
2- Disassembles, cleans, inspects and evaluates components and subassemblies. Identifies worn, broken or corroded parts.
3- Assembles actuators, motors, fans, and similar equipment, per applicable technical manuals and specifications.
Applies corrosion preventive materials, adjusts, lubricates, shims as required, torque to specification and safety wire.
