For GS-07: In addition to the basic education requirement, Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in solving electrical power conversion systems and equipment problems; 2) Applying electrical engineering principles and education in developing, implementing, verifying, and completing solutions to technical projects; 3) Communicating and working with teams to accomplish organizational objectives.
OR You have successfully completed 1 year of graduate-level education, directly related to the position.
OR You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, directly related to the position.
OR You have successfully completed an engineering bachelor's degree and have one year of appropriate experience as a technician equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or higher.
OR You have successfully completed a 5 year program of study of at least 160 semester hours leading to a bachelor's degree in engineering.
OR You have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
